Frequently asked questions

Short answers. Call (615) 629-8217 if you need more.

What is included in a Stamps Steel PEB package?
Primary and secondary framing, roof and wall panels, and openings as specified. Insulation or IMPs, doors, ventilation, and accessories are coordinated to your use and climate.
What about TN permits, codes, and foundations?
Requirements vary by county and use. We supply PEB engineering details and reactions; foundation design and permits stay with your engineer, contractor, and local building office.
How long does a typical project take?
Depends on engineering, fabrication capacity, and site readiness. Ask for current lead times with your quote — they change with market conditions.
What insulation options and R-values are available?
Common fiberglass systems include single-layer PSK-VR (e.g. 3″ R-10, 4″ R-13, 6″ R-19) and High-R multi-layer packages. IMPs offer higher continuous R-values (often R-16 to R-50 depending on thickness). See Insulation and IMP.
How are snow and wind loads determined?
By project location and adopted building code. Provide site ZIP/city and use; we engineer the package for those criteria rather than a one-size catalog default.
PEB vs pole barn — which is right for me?
PEBs use steel rigid frames and secondaries as an engineered system — ideal for clear spans and many commercial/ag uses. Pole barns use post-frame methods. We help compare based on span, code path, and finish goals.
Do you finance buildings?
We can introduce third-party financing. Ask on your quote request if you want that.
What happens after I submit a quote?
We review details, clarify questions, and outline a PEB package path — typically within one business day for complete requests. Call (615) 629-8217 anytime.
